Notes on distribution and habitat preferences of Sphagnum inexspectatum and S. mirum in Western Siberia

New records of two rare moss species, Sphagnum inexspectatum Flatberg (4) and S. mirum & Thingsgaard (9) are reported from Western Siberia, discuss them in context their habitat preferences region as well general range. Their distribution Russia is considered re-assessed. Geobotanical relevés plant communities with Siberia presented. It shown that the taiga zone occurence closely related to alliance Stygio-Caricion limosae Nordhagen 1943, class Scheuchzerio-Caricetea nigrae Tx. 1937, similar carpets meso-oligotrophic mires, where it grows single stems among other peat mosses poor conditions on slightly acidic substrates. In forest tundra southern this species occurs only Caricion stantis Matveyeva 1994. More diverse assigned mainly Sphagno-Caricion canescentis Passarge (1964) 1978, which comprises sedge-Sphagnum vegetation located fens transitional bogs a wide variety habitats moderately rich mineral nutrients substrate. This both low (as stems) high abundance (frequently being dominant) layer.
